Wasel Noor MomandMoLSAMD Deputy Minister in Social affairs along with Mohammad NazerAalemi head of the Social Welfare Organization, representatives from the Ministry of Justice and Interior Affairs, Supreme Court and Attorney general’s Office participated in a ribbon-cuttinginauguration ceremonyfor strengthening and supporting center for detained children and juveniles.
In 2009, Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs, Martyrs and Disabled signed agreements with 9 ministries for the problems of detained children and juveniles who didn’t commit serious crimes, Wasel Noor Momand said while inauguration of the center.
Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs, Martyrs and Disabled for accessingto the problems of detained childrenhave filled 2224 children’sinvestigation forms and has submitted to the ministry of Justice, a number of the mentioned children introduced to the orphanages and has made efforts to find the parents of the children, He added.
This is the first and only center for strengthening and supporting detained children in the country, Mohammad NazerAalemi head of the Social Welfare Organization said in statement.
The children who enrolled in this center will trained in different fields as;literacy, religious issues and technical and vocational trainings (computer, furniture, tailoring, carpentry and plumbing), he added.
Representatives of the Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Interior Affairs, Supreme Court and Attorney general’s Office also talked about the event and consider inauguration of the center as a helpful and valuable center for children and judicial systemof the country.
