199 trainees were graduated from Afghan-Korea vocational training institute.

 After months of training, these 199 trainees (male and female) have graduated and received their certificates in the fields of English language, computers, and tailoring.

Jalaluddin Husham dean of the AKVTI congratulated the students for their graduations and said that AKVTI is and institute which equipped very well for better vocational studies. The main objective of this institute is to present labor force according to the requirements of labor Market Mr.Husham added.

We have created a database to facilitate the employment of the graduated trainees in private sector and human resources departments for hiring theme.

We will connect Afghan-Korea vocational training center with one of the international vocational centers said: Naimatullah Atif acting director of skill development department of the ministry of labor, Social Affairs, Martyrs and disabled. He further added: To avoid high unemployment rate in the country we want to build more these kind of vocational training centers in country’s central zone.   

The curriculum of this center is according to the new models and standard of the world and the certificate is valid in every regional country after correct verification Atif added.

At the conclusion, Mr.Choi Euijoong the country director of Korea international cooperation Agency in Afghanistan said that the Korean government always shares its successful experiences in different fields such as education, skill development and capacity building for human resources through KOICA with the Afghan Government.

He added: the Korean government will have more other projects in the future especially how to hire the graduators of AKVTI, we will sign a trilateral agreement between AKVTI, the private sector and Korean government in near future.

AKVTI was established and funded by Korean government in 2005 and activating under the management of ministry of labor, social affairs, martyrs and disabled which graduated thousands of students in seven different fields ( electricity, Automotive repairing, English language, computer, pipe fitting, tailoring and metal smith) according to the requirements of labor market.
